Mr. Gadsby has students work on a unit by completing stations.

Each station has them learning about a different aspect of the unit, and the students rotate through the stations. Some stations may have the students doing research on the internet, some have them looking up information in their texts, some have them graphing information, and some stations they create things like posters or short presentations.

The really nice thing about this way of teaching a unit is that if the internet or network is down for a period or a day (and we all know this is a possibility), the students can work on other stations and then go back to the ones that need the technology later. The students are working collaboratively, and are creating using the information! Totally 21st Century!

Thanks for sharing Mr. Gadsby!
